We had an engineered wood floor in our lounge that was only down for three years, but had accumulated a number of stains on it. My wife found Halcyon, and Adam was confident that they could get a good result. We could not believe how efficient the team were in sanding our floor, with no dust at all - we didn't even have to take curtains and pictures down - and the end result is just stunning. We now have a lacquer finish on the floor which appears to be much more hard-wearing than the original finish. In fact, we were so delighted that we have just had Halcyon come back to sand our 20 year old boards in our hall and study, and the transformation is just incredible. I have no hesitation recommending Halcyon.

Rory did a tremendous job sanding and refinishing my semi solid wooden floors in the living room, two bedrooms and the hall. The living room and hall in particular had some well worn areas and now look as good as new. Adam was great to liaise with in arranging the work, checked over the floors beforehand and recommended a joiner to fix a door that was scuffing the hall floor. A first class company that I have no hesitation in recommending.

Superb job revitalising my lounge floor. The surround is teak parquet flooring from 1951. It has been under a carpet for years, so was looking a bit sad for itself when the carpet was lifted. Rory was meticulous and professional, took pride in his work and he enjoyed the end result as much as I did. Highly recommended.

I opted for the solvent based traditional finish, to bring out the natural tannins in the wood. The finish is stunning.
